Contract Highlights


CONTRACT HIGHLIGHTS:

CAPTAIN

Contract Duration: 5 yrs Contract renewable
Monthly Basic Salary
Ranging from RMB 40,000 – RMB 60,000 based on experience
Productivity Allowance (when operational)
Captain joined with 744 type rating
0-70 hrs - RMB 500 per hour
> 70 hrs - RMB 900 per hour
Guaranteed hours of 70 hours per month
Captain joined without 744 type rating
0-70 hrs - RMB 375 per hour
> 70 hrs - RMB 675 per hour
Guaranteed hours of 70 hours per month

FIRST OFFICER
Contract Duration: 5 yrs Contract renewable
Monthly Basic Salary
Ranging from RMB 25,000 – RMB 37,500 based on experience
Productivity Allowance (when operational)
0-70 hrs - RMB 330 per hour
> 70 hrs - RMB 600 per hour
Guaranteed hours of 70 hours per month

The Guaranteed Productivity Allowance will cease if any of the following conditions occurs:
1).Failure of proficiency check;
2).Failure of line check;
3).Failure of CAAC medical check;
4).Casual Medical Leave beyond 14 days in the calendar year (70 hours guaranteed PPA will cease with effect from the month of the 15th day of Casual Medical Leave is taken to the end of the calendar year.);
5).Personal flight request that affect the roster hours (or generate more cost for the Company)
6).Failure of inform the Company of renewal of Passport and Residents Permit at least one months notice in advance;
7).Suspended due to technical incident/disciplinary investigations.

SERVICE BENEFITS AND ALLOWANCES

13th month basic salary
Service Increment: Reviewed annually.
Profit Sharing Bonus: Payable depending on Company’s performance.
Annual Leave: Up to 28 days per year.
Home Leave: 6-10 days home leave per month (maximum 88 days / year).
Other Benefits: Loss of License Insurance coverage at SGD 300,000 (SGD 200,000 for First Officer). Generous medical benefits for employees.
Housing Allowance: RMB 12,500 per month. (This is subject to revision if there are significant changes in market rental, and at the prerogative of the Company.)
Travel Allowance: RMB 4,500 per month. (This is subject to revision if there are significant changes in cost of air travel, and at the prerogative of the Company.)
Child’s Education Assistance: Up to a maximum of RMB 10,000 per month per crew, for children who are fully dependent below 21 years of age.
End of Contract Gratuity: You will have RMB250, 000 after completing 5 years contract.

Great Wall Airlines Company Limited, incorporated in Oct 2005, is a Sino-Foreign Joint Venture Cargo Airline established by Beijing Aerospace Satellite Applications Corporation, Singapore Airlines Cargo and Dahlia Investments.

The airline suspended operations on 18 August 2006 after its parent company, China Great Wall Industry, had sanctions imposed on it by the United States Department of the Treasury for allegedly supplying missile technology to Iran. All aircraft were returned to Singapore Airlines Cargo. On 13 December 2006, it was announced that sanctions against Great Wall Airlines had been lifted, and that the airline would resume service in February 2007 . The airline has resumed scheduled services to Amsterdam (six times weekly), Incheon (six times weekly) and Mumbai/Chennai (three times weekly). As of April 30, 2007 Great Wall Airlines have also launched scheduled service to Manchester via Amsterdam.
